About Ethan
Jack Webster recipient Ethan Morneau has produced online and TV reports for viewers across Canada. Born and raised in Niagara, Ont., he is now based in Toronto, where he joined CTV National News as a National Digital Producer in summer 2025. Previously in Victoria, B.C., Ethan developed a unique filming and editing style, blending his passion for photography with broadcast storytelling. He was hired as a Digital News Reporter/Editor at employee-owned CHEK News, later working simultaneously as a Multimedia Journalist. Prior to CHEK, he was Senior Reporter at Victoria Buzz and News Reporter/Anchor/On-Air Host at Vista Radio Vancouver Island. Together with his Readers' Choice award-winning web/graphic design background, Ethan brings more than a decade of experience in media.
